Alix stripped back this 150 sq m Grade II-listed apartment in Notting Hill to bare brick, retaining, restoring or replacing where necessary heritage features.  The apartment – once home to the family who inspired the Darling clan in J.M Barrie’s Peter Pan – has been skilfully opened up to create a grand living space flooded with transversal light and revealing new views of communal gardens to the rear.  The apartment includes a master bedroom facing a private garden and a second bedroom or private office. Alix designed a bespoke kitchen and throughout the apartment warm tones and Art Deco designs create an atmosphere of elegant intimacy.
